My Journey into 5 Rhythms in Mayapur
I started attending 5 Rhythms classes during my last visit to Mayapur. There’s something about the whole frequency of Mayaour — the temples, the constant sight of people walking with a japa bag in hand, the Ganga river flowing quietly nearby. In my experience, you can’t help but heal here in one way or another.
So going to a 5 Rhythms class in this environment gave me exactly what I needed at the time. I’ve often felt a bit stifled, a bit repressed, like I’m not fully being myself. Not dramatically, just subtly — like there’s more inside that doesn’t always have space to come out.
During 5 Rhythms, I feel that space open. It allowed me to express what’s inside without having to explain it . There’s no right or wrong way to move. And Sudevi holds the space so beautifully that it genuinely feels safe to let go.

I’ve attended many classes now and I often tell people about it whenever I can, hoping they might receive what I receive from it. Moving the body in this way can free you in a way that words alone cannot. We can talk about healing for years, but when the body moves, something shifts.
The body really does hold the score. And sometimes the most powerful way to release, is to dance !!!
